There is a Kiwanis meeting every Tuesday, and two people are allowed to leave school to attend these meetings (you will be excused from class). There is a $15.00 entry fee, but this year we are working on getting some sponsers to take care of this cost so joining will be free for you! We will have shirts this year, they will include "Key Club", the Key Club Logo, "11", "12", and "Unicoi County Hig
h School" on the back, and your name on the front. The cost for these shirts will be approximately $10.00. We will be doing some sort of fundraiser right off, and hope to be very successful. Most of the stuff we do will be along-side Kiwanis. Some of the projects that we already plan on participating in with them are: Selling peanuts at the Apple Festival (October), The Childrens Christmas Shopping Spree (December), and the Pancake Breakfast (April or May). We also do things that the Key Club itself does personally such as, The Ronald McDonald House and reading to the Elementary Schools once or twice a year. If any of these events are during school hours, we will work our hardest to get every moment of it excused and it will go toward you community service at the same time.
