Drop by and drop off food, clothing, and other essential items—in our donation bin 24/7 or in our office Monday-Friday 9am-6pm. Our neighbors need you and are never failed by your faithfulness.

We are pleased to announce two new additions to the Care&Share team: Ivy Richburg and Todd Hilsman. Ivy and Todd are Master of Divinity students at Emmanuel Christian Seminary and will be serving with us under a Bivocational Ministry Fellowship, with Emmanuel Christian Seminary at Milligan and First Christian - Erwin, TN as our partners.

We are excited for their experience, education, and eager faithfulness to bless our community, and for their time in Unicoi County to bless their growth as ministry leaders. Their work with us begins this week.

Please join us as we welcome Ivy and Todd to the Care&Share family and to our home of Unicoi County.

Join us in praying for the families and community of the Milligan University cyclists killed and injured today. Milligan is a close partner to our ministry, especially in our shared Christian work of developing young ministers and growing faithfulness in our region. Work needed, in the wake of tragedy.

We are profoundly shocked and saddened to share that members of our cycling team were in an accident involving a vehicle this morning while cycling in Hampton, TN. Sophomores Haylan Engdahl and Brayden Rogers were killed in this accident. Multiple other Milligan cyclists were also seriously injured and are currently receiving treatment at the Johnson City Medical Center. There are no words to adequately describe this level of loss. Our prayers are with all those impacted by this tragedy. Please keep the Milligan community in your prayers.

The American Job Center is returning to our office today! We’re excited for them to help our neighbors access valuable job resources. If you have any needs related to employment, unemployment, or job skills, come and talk to the experts!

Help us keep our facility and our neighborhood safe and clean! We are thankful for our many generous donors, but donations dumped outside our doors are a regular problem. Why?

⚠️ It’s not safe. Donations dumped at our doors are often soiled by people, animals, and bugs, and are often ruined by moisture and quickly mildew; we don’t want our staff exposed to such hazards.

⚠️ It’s not clean. Even if left alone, piles of donations dumped at our doors leave our facility messy and cluttered. But they’re often ransacked, with donated items strewn across our property and our neighbors’ properties.

⚠️ It’s not convenient. Donations dumped at our doors demand a lengthy cleanup, sometimes just for us to get inside the building. We are open extended hours and have a large donation bin open 24/7 specifically so you can make donations in a way that is safe, clean, and convenient for everyone.

‼️ Note that any donations dumped outside of our building or donation bin may be discarded. So if you want your donations to meet our neighbors’ needs, donate in our building or in our bin.
