Yesterday, our brother Paramedic Ryan Fogle and his family lost their home to a fire. Due to the flames and smoke damage, this family is starting from scratch. They also lost their family dog, Arnie. Paramedic Fogle has been serving the residents of Erlanger with the Erlanger Fire/EMS Department for 4 years and his wife, Jen, is a physical therapist for Cincinnati Children’s. Any donations would help this wonderful family work towards getting back on their feet.

Thoughts and prayers to his wife and children, the members of Union Fire Protection District, and the Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky Airport Fire Department families.

It is with a heavy heart, the members of Union Fire Protection District announce the passing of Captain Travis Ransom. Captain Ransom was a great friend, tremendous leader, mentor and officer.

Captain Ransom had many roles with Union Fire Protection District over the years including Fire Inspector, Firefighter/Paramedic, Lieutenant, Captain and most recently, our Training Captain. Captain Ransom also served in the USAF. He had previously retired from the Greater Cincinnati Northern KY Airport Fire Department and had also served with Edgewood Fire Department. His wealth of knowledge has made a lasting impact on firefighters in Northern Kentucky.

Please keep Travis’ wife, Lisa, and their children in your thoughts and prayers along with our family at Union Fire Protection District.

Erlanger Professional Firefighters Local 4206 took on a special task this holiday season. Using funds that are collected from our annual corn booth, we were able to give back to the community we serve, by purchasing Christmas gifts for the children in our city.

During this time of year, we wish to not only spread holiday cheer, but carry on the tradition of giving to others and making an impact on others lives!

Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays from Local 4206!

Erlanger Professional Firefighters IAFF L 4206 would like to wish the following members a happy retirement: Deputy Chief of EMS Rhonda Wolf: DC Wolf has been with the department for 27 years. Chief Wolf has been in charge of the EMS side of the fire department for the last 4 years. Her kindness and compassion will be dearly missed. Thank you DC Wolf for your hard work. Firefighter/EMT Tom Herman. Tom came to us two years ago from a neighboring department. Tom has twenty years of service as a firefighter. His enthusiasm for the fire service and humor have been a staple at the department and will be missed. Tom, thank you for being part of this department and everything you have brought to us.
