A lot of people do not realize that every county that has an Imagination Library book program has a sponsor that is paying for those ‘free’ books. Fayette County Kentucky’s Imagination Library Program sponsor is having problems raising enough funds to support their program. Erin Rotary sponsors the Imagination Library Program in Houston County and is committed to providing free Imagination Library books to every child in Houston County from birth to 5 years old and is securely funded for many, many years in the future. Thank you to everyone who registers their children for this wonderful program! There is never a charge for families to participate in Imagination Library.

Rodney Lowe gave Erin Rotarians a brief history of TVA at their October 21st Erin Rotary meeting. Rodney is a life long resident of Houston County, an Army veteran and retired after 32 years with TVA. It produced 200 kWh and supplied electricity for businesses and residents limited to the areas close to Erin City Center. TVA currently produces 1,300,000 kWh for comparison.
