Houston County Lions Club The Lions Club is a community-based International service organization providing vision services to those who need help.

A group of service-minded individuals who work together to improve the community. We work with eye screenings, disaster relief and environmental projects in Houston County.

Almost everyone has a neighbor, relative or co-worker who has diabetes. In this country alone, 10.3 million people have diabetes; there are another 5.5 million who don't know they have it, according to the American Diabetes Association. If you experience unusual thirst, frequent urination, or a weight loss without trying, you may be one of the 5.5 million. See your doctor as soon as possible. There will be more tips in the future.

Recently District 12-I held its annual convention at beautiful Montgomery Bell State park to do necessary business and have some really great fun on the Friday night. Elected were DGE Mark Kassing of the Waverly Lions Club, 1st VDGE Paul Murray of the Donelson Lions Club and 2nd VDGE Marjorie Crowell of the Williamson County Club.
