Congratulations, Madison! 🎓 Gannon University Ruskin graduate Madison Hoke '26OTD crossed the stage as an occupational therapy doctoral major and soon-to-be licensed OT.

Drawn to Gannon for its outstanding OT program and dedicated faculty, Madison found more than an education—she found a community. To her, being a Golden Knight means showing up for one another, learning together and lifting others along the way.

Next up? Madison plans to become a Certified Hand Therapist, launch her own business, and one day take the stage as a speaker for the prestigious Eleanor Clarke Slagle Lecture.

“From learning from my professors to growing with my friends… I am ready to graduate and make my mark.”

We can’t wait to see all that’s ahead. Congratulations, Madison! ❤️💛⚔️

Congratulations to Didier Augusto Cardona Villalobos '26M! Didier joined Gannon in January 2023 from Colombia. When he landed in Erie, he was shocked.

“Everything was covered in snow. I come from a tropical city where the coldest day of the year is maybe 50°F,” he said. “But what surprised me even more was the people. Erie people are genuinely kind, and the Gannon family made me feel at home almost immediately. I fell in love with this community in a way I never anticipated.”

He came to Gannon through the ESL (English as a Second Language program) originally, with plans of eventually pursuing a degree in Nursing to continue his work as a registered nurse in Colombia.

“My original plan was simple: learn English, understand American culture, and see if building a life here made sense,” he added.

Didier earned his Master’s Degree in Health Administration from Gannon University. He plans to continue his education with a second Master’s Degree in Medical Sciences in Global Health Delivery at Harvard Medical School. He begins in August.
