🌟✨ We’re BACK at Fire Lights Music & Arts Festival! ✨🌟

Brick City Creators Collective is honored to once again bring the GET DOWN to the beautiful Great Blue Heron Festival grounds in Sherman, NY. 🎶🔥

Join us for our Open Flow Jam + Workshop on Friday & Saturday from 4 PM – 5 PM!

This is a welcoming, all-level experience where anyone can jump in, play, and learn.

We’ll have a wide variety of practice props for you to explore, including:
🔹 Dragon Staff
🔹 Double Staves
🔹 Poi
🔹 Hoop
🔹 Fans
… and so much more!

Our talented collective members will be on hand to share tricks, tips, and encouragement—whether you’re picking up a prop for the very first time or looking to refine your skills.

What a fun week ahead for the Area! 🎉🎉🎉 CHQ Chamber in Jamestown

Jamestown is the place to be this week!
There’s a full lineup of events across the city – from classic cars and championship baseball to live music, art, and yoga – there’s something for everyone nearly every day.

🚗 Friday: Jamestown Cruise-In rolls into Downtown Jamestown at 5PM with a show-stopping lineup of classic cars, vendors, and live music. Stroll the streets, visit local businesses, take in the chrome, and enjoy the community atmosphere.

⚾ Saturday: Babe Ruth World Series kicks off at Russell E. Diethrick Jr Park at 10:30AM — cheer on the teams and celebrate this incredible youth baseball tradition.

All week long, there’s creativity in motion at:
• Pearl City Clay House – daily hands-on pottery workshops & mid-week tastings
• Infinity Visual and Performing Arts – performances and student showcases
• Fenton History Center– local history talks and guided experiences
• Roger Tory Peterson Institute – gallery walks, yoga with the birds, and nature programs

Are you ready to share bold, in-progress work in a radically inclusive space? This is your moment.

Sukanya Burman Dance invites applications for Chaturanga | Art in Flux, a multidisciplinary, community-engaged arts program launching Fall 2025 in Jamestown, NY at our brand-new venue.

What’s in it for you?

✨ Present your low-tech work-in-progress in a quarterly public showing
✨ Collaborate with audiences through interactive, theme-based art-making
✨ Receive a $500 honorarium
✨ Get up to 5 hours of mentorship with a curator, artist, or cultural worker to support your process

⚫ Open to artists 18+ based in Western New York
⚫ Preference given to Chautauqua County artists
⚫ Welcoming performance-based disciplines: dance/movement, music, storytelling, spoken word, and interdisciplinary work

A diverse panel will review applications based on:
💡 Alignment with the program’s mission
🎯 Clarity of artistic vision
🤝 Potential for meaningful community engagement
