It is with deep sorrow, heavy hearts, and profound grief that the Bhutanese Community Association of Erie announces the tragic and untimely passing of Robine Rai, a precious child and beloved member of our community.
Robine Rai, resident of Erie, Pennsylvania passed away on December 27, 2025, at the tender age of 12. His passing has left an indescribable void in the hearts of his family and has deeply shaken our entire community. A child full of innocence, potential, and dreams, Robine’s life, though brief, touched many and will forever be remembered with love and sorrow.
Robine is survived by his loving mother, Ms. Gupta Kumari Rai, his grandmother, Ms. Kaikey Rai, along with extended family members, relatives, friends, and community members who are mourning this heartbreaking loss. Words cannot fully express the pain and grief his family is enduring during this unimaginably difficult time.
