As Erie's only professional-level adult chorus, the Erie Philharmonic Chorus takes great pride in meeting high standards of excellence in the field of choral-orchestral performance. Recent major performances have included Carl Orff's Carmina Burana, Verdi's Requiem, Brahms' Requiem and Beethoven's Ninth Symphony. In May 2010, the Erie Philharmonic Chorus joined with several other Erie-area choirs

to perform Haydn's Lord Nelson Mass in New York City's Carnegie Hall. This season the chorus will perform with the Philharmonic multiple times, including a presentation of Beethoven's Choral Fantasy, Bernstein's Chichester Psalms, as well as music from Lord of the Rings, Skyrim, Avatar, Elf and more! The Erie Philharmonic Chorus also performs several times per year in the Erie Philharmonic's pop series, including the traditional December Holiday Pops, "Come Home for the Holidays."
