You're invited to Mercyhurst's Tribute to Veterans

Friends,

Join us on campus at Mercyhurst University for our annual Veterans Tribute held for Mercyhurst and community veterans and their families.

This year, Mercyhurst is hosting several events during the week preceding Veterans Day. Listed below is the schedule of events for the week. Unless otherwise noted, all events are free and open to the public. However, admission to the tailgate and football game is only free to veterans and their guests. Others are welcome but will be charged $10 at registration.

The celebration of veterans includes a Purple Heart Ceremony honoring Purple Heart recipients Wednesday, Nov. 7, and a Celebration of Valor on Thursday, Nov. 8. Festivities will culminate with a tailgate and tribute prior to Mercyhurst's football game with Millersville University on Saturday, Nov. 10.

In addition to the events, the campus American flag will be raised each day at 0845 and lowered at 1730. Cadence runs with cadets will take place at 0700 Wednesday and Friday at Tullio Field.
