At St. Paul’s Neighborhood Center, neighbors will be able to select foods that fit their household’s needs and preferences through a grocery-style model. By offering choice, the Second Harvest Marketplace will help create a food assistance experience centered on dignity, independence and respect.

Every household is different, and everyone deserves a say in what goes on their table. ❤️

Last week, we had the opportunity to gather with some of our Erie Gives Day supporters for a special Donor Appreciation Happy Hour! ❤️

Showing appreciation to those who support our mission is incredibly important to us. This evening was a chance to personally thank some of the individuals who are helping bring the vision for St. Paul’s Neighborhood Center to life.

None of this would be possible without the generosity, encouragement, and belief of our community. Every contribution plays a part in building a brighter future for our neighbors and Erie’s Little Italy.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the evening and to all who continue to support our mission. We are grateful to have you be part of this journey!

One thing is for certain: Erie Community Foundation knows how to throw a great party! 🎉❤️

We had a blast attending the Erie Gives Final Numbers Press Conference today at UPMC Park and celebrating alongside so many incredible organizations from across our community.

As a first-time Erie Gives participant, we were honored to finish #2 on the leaderboard! We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who donated, shared our mission and showed their support for St. Paul’s Neighborhood Center.

There’s so much happening at St. Paul’s Neighborhood Center, and we can’t wait to keep sharing it with you.

A look back at where it all began. ❤️

St. Paul’s School was founded in 1960, becoming an important part of the Little Italy neighborhood and the lives of so many families who called it home.

This photo, taken inside the school’s gym and hall, is a glimpse into those early years. More than six decades later, this space holds countless memories—and now, a new chapter is being written as it becomes the future home of St. Paul’s Neighborhood Center.

The building may be changing, but its purpose remains rooted in something familiar: bringing people together and serving our neighbors. 🇮🇹❤️

For generations, St. Paul’s has been part of the fabric of this neighborhood. “Heart of Hope” was a message rooted in St. Paul’s School, and today, we’re carrying that legacy forward through the mission of the St. Paul’s Neighborhood Center.

To us, being the Heart of Hope means being there for our neighbors. It means creating a place where people know they are welcomed, cared for and supported. It means strengthening the neighborhood by investing in the people who call it home.

When the St. Paul’s Neighborhood Center opens its doors, it will be a place built around the needs of the community—from providing meals and access to groceries to connecting neighbors with resources, opportunities, programs and one another.

At the center of everything we do will be a simple belief: when we help our neighbors, we strengthen our entire community.

The legacy of the Heart of Hope lives on—and its next chapter is being written right here in Erie’s Little Italy. ❤️
