Attention artists and makers!
CO-Create is putting together our very first Tiny Art Show fundraiser. Piggybacking on Shop Small Saturday, we would like to host this tiny gallery show in collaboration with on Sunday November 29th. Details will come soon, but we wanted to gauge interest. There will be no entry fee, but we will sell 3"x3" blank stretched canvas for $2 each. We'll determine number of pieces per artist after we gauge interest. The entries can be any 2D (painting, printmaking, etc.) or 3D (sculpture, fiber art, pottery, etc.) art. The requirement is to be no larger than 4"x4"x4". If interested send us a DM or comment on the post. You don't have to be an Erie resident, but the exhibit location is in downtown Erie, CO.

It's been a bit quiet on our socials as our board is working diligently to secure insurance for CO-Create.

We did want to respond to a resident asking how to access the Schofield property by foot or bike from Arapahoe Ridge. We reached out to the town for more information and learned there is a path from the crosswalk on 111th to the Scholfield parking lot. Take a look at this handy map on how to navigate. I believe we are weeks away from moving in. Keep sending us your good vibes and support to get us through this insurance phase.

Our board had a building walk-through today at Schofield. We’re just waiting on our insurance coverage to be set and then moving in will begin. If you or someone you know is interested in volunteering, we will need help moving in furniture and equipment and in building storage and work tables/benches. Please send us a DM if you would like to be part of this crew building out our new space.

We are also accepting donations of gently used—and in working condition—tools, supplies and equipment in the areas of woodworking, ceramics, sewing/fiber arts, 3D printing, and electronics. Please send us a DM or use our contact form at eriemakerspace.org and include your list of items.

We’re getting close and excited to start building the CO-Create maker community!
