✔️ Facilitate empowering programs for girls
✔️ Lead engaging lessons & activities 🎤
✔️ Write weekly reports & track impact 📊

✔️ Create social media content 📱
✔️ Help identify funding opportunities 💼

💎 WE’RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO:
✨ Has a heart for youth & community

✨ Has experience in education, social work, or nonprofit work (or equivalent)
✨ Is comfortable with social media & basic tech

Nurturing Heart’s is excited to announce that our Glow Up Girl Summer Program is officially open for registration!

For nearly two decades (since 2006), we’ve been empowering girls across Erie County through programs focused on self-esteem, confidence, healthy choices, and leadership.

This summer, your daughter will be part of a safe, uplifting sisterhood where she can grow, connect, and thrive.

📅 Thursdays & Fridays | June 25th – August 14th

🌟 Special Opportunity: Through our collaboration with Wabtec Girls, participants will have the opportunity to attend a Girls STEM Camp at Penn State Behrend (July 13–17)—introducing them to science, technology, and future career pathways.

We were honored to have our very own Founder & CEO of Nurturing Hearts, Inc Shawnta’ Pulliam-Brown, share her powerful entrepreneurship journey as part of the Ice House Entrepreneurship Program. She spoke about starting her work during a recession from a small one-bedroom apartment in the projects while on disability—driven purely by faith, resilience, and a deep passion to see girls succeed and thrive.Today, Nurturing Heart’s has served thousands of girls across Erie County for over two decades and now operates 14 programs, including online opportunities for girls. Her story is a true testament to perseverance, vision, and purpose.

She was joined by Shateria Franklin, Founder of Destiny of Our Daughters, and Shantel Hillard, Director of the Booker T. Washington Center, for an impactful and inspiring discussion with students about leadership, entrepreneurship, and community commitment. Special shout-out to Principal Matt Koval on the great job he's doing at East Middle, a Community School! 🙌🏽

💜✨ Grateful for Community Support!✨💜

We are incredibly thankful to the Erie Community Foundation – Hear Erie’s Youth (HEY)for their generous donation in support of Nurturing Heart’s!

This meaningful contribution will help us launch our Online Grade School and Middle School Program, allowing us to reach even more girls and meet them where they are. Because of this support, we will be providing supply bags filled with materials so each student has everything they need at home to fully participate, engage, and grow during sessions. 📚🎒💻

Access matters. Preparation matters. And thanks to HEY, our girls will be ready and equipped for success.

Our girls enjoyed hands-on sessions designed to uplift, nurture, and remind them of their worth, both inside and out. From glam tutorials to wellness care, the love and empowerment in the room was undeniable. ✨
