We are so excited to celebrate Ella today!🤿🌊

Through Raising Hope, Ella has received an Activity Scholarship to participate in swimming lessons this summer—and we couldn’t be more proud of her! At just 3 years old, she already loves the water and is eager to learn important skills to help keep her safe and confident.

Opportunities like this are about so much more than an activity—they build confidence, encourage growth, and create joyful experiences every child deserves.

Way to go, Ella! We are cheering you on every step (and splash!) of the way! 🏊‍♀️✨

Today was one of those beautiful days where generosity met real, immediate need—and we are so thankful.

A heartfelt thank you to Isabelle for dropping off 22 baby food items today—these went straight to an Erie foster family caring for two little ones!

Thank you as well to Michae & Becky for your generous furniture donations. These items were delivered to a Morrison family today as they prepare their home for an upcoming foster placement. Your kindness is helping create a safe and welcoming space.

And a big thank you to the Erie 4th grade class for their incredible generosity through their Wax Museum project—raising $752.39 to support foster families through Raising Hope! It was such a joy to meet with you today, share about the mission, and see your compassion in action. 💛

We are continually amazed by this community and how you show up for foster families. Thank you for being the hands and feet of God’s love.

Because of your generosity, we were able to say “yes” to something special this week. 💛

A local girl in foster care needed a bike—something just for her, something that brings a sense of normalcy, freedom, and joy. Thanks to your monetary donations, Raising Hope was able to purchase a brand new bike just for her.

Moments like this matter more than words can fully capture. It’s not just a bike—it’s childhood, confidence, and a reminder that she is seen, valued, and loved.

❤️ Raising Hope in Action ❤️

We were so grateful to come alongside a fictive kin placement caring for 4 children this week—what a beautiful reminder that it truly takes a community to surround families with love and support.

A heartfelt thank you to God's Will Giving Center in Morrison for generously providing a queen bed and mattress for this family. What a gift of comfort and stability!

And a huge thank you to Tod, one of our incredible volunteers from Erie, who stepped up without hesitation to pick up and deliver the bed directly to the family. Your willingness to serve makes all the difference.

Because of your continued monetary donations, we were also able to fully stock the household with essential items, including:
• 3 cases of 40-count water bottles
• 2 packs of 12-roll toilet paper
• Large Gain laundry detergent (107 loads!)
• 4 boxes of tissues
• 3 tubes of toothpaste

Every item, every dollar, every act of kindness helps create a sense of dignity, stability, and hope for families navigating difficult seasons.

A heartfelt thank you to the Bowers Family for their donation of essential items. Because of their kindness, we have now received multiple cases of diapers (sizes 3–6) and a full case of baby wipes—items that are already making a real difference for the children and families we serve.

These everyday essentials may seem simple, but they are some of the most needed items for children entering foster care—often with very little of their own.

Each year, we are so incredibly blessed by the faithful hands and hearts of the Erie United Methodist Church Sewing Saturday Ladies. Their annual Pillowcase Day is more than just a day of sewing—it’s a day of love in action.

Because of their dedication, children entering foster care receive something soft, personal, and comforting—a pillowcase of their own. It may seem simple, but in moments of uncertainty and transition, that small gift becomes something meaningful and steady.

We are deeply thankful that year after year, this amazing group shows up to serve not only Raising Hope, but also MY GEAR, helping bridge the gap for children who often come with very little.

To each person who sews, pins, irons, organizes, or simply shows up to support—thank you. You are making a difference. 🧡
