Cadden Classic Memorial Golf Tournament

Cadden Classic Memorial Golf Tournament The Cadden Classic Memorial Golf Tournament fundraises for the Cadden Family Memorial Scholarship. Covid-19 has had a tremendous impact on all of us.

The Cadden Family has been a part of the Iroquois Community for over 60 years. Our businesses, schools, playgrounds, and communities have all been hit hard and our lives drastically changed. Unfortunately, for my family, it has been all too personal. My grandfather passed in June, his wife, my grandmother passed in April of 2021 and my mother passed away from the disease on December 18, 2020. It h

as been a year of tragedy and great personal loss for the Cadden family. My grandmother, Connie, taught first grade at Wesleyville Elementary for 30 years. My grandfather, Bob, was a Scout Master, Wesleyville Little League coach, lifelong American Legion member, and member of multiple non-profit groups in this community. My mom was a graduate of Iroquois in 1979 and donated her time to this community in countless ways. My family has been spending time navigating these emotional moments and have been trying to find a way to positively respond to these events and memorialize our family the best way we can. Because my family is so deeply intrenched in this community, we have decided to start a scholarship foundation that will support a graduating Iroquois senior. To fund this scholarship program, we have partnered with the Iroquois Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit, and scheduled the first annual Cadden Classic Memorial Golf Tournament.
