Here’s what’s happening this coming week at 1020: 

Wednesday, June 10th: FILM 10|20 Open Screen Happy Hour ; 5-9pm

Thursday, June 11th: PRIDE Compton’s Table Open Mic with hosts + | ; 6-10pm

Friday, June 12th: Reel Rituals: The Old Dark House Film Screening for PRIDE; 5:30pm - Tickets on the event tab of our website 

Sunday, June 14th: Trine: Dance Church ; Doors open at 10:45am - Dance Begins at 11:11am 

In addition to our community events, you can also visit during our open hours. We launched our new summer open hours last week on June 1st! We are shifting our open hours from Thursday and Friday 10:20am - 10:20pm to Friday 4 - 11pm and Saturday 11am - 4pm. As always, we will be open for private events and community events as well in addition to our summer open hours. 

Hit up our Collective Café for hand-crafted cocktails or espresso drinks and check out Rick’s record store, recording studio, and our community darkroom! You can also just come and read a book, get some work done on your laptop, or doodle in your sketchbook. We love to have you here.

June is a big month for art at 1020 Collective! 🎨✨

We’re excited to welcome two new exhibitions this month:

Within Conversations Between Women: a solo exhibition by , opening June 18 and on view through July 18. Join us for the opening reception during Collective Community, our monthly networking event on Thursday, June 18th 6-10pm.

America 250: Between Here and Elsewhere: a Portrait of the New American Experience opens June 18 and will be on view through July 18, with the main reception taking place during Gallery Night on Friday, June 26th 6-10pm.

Gallery Night is shaping up to be one of our biggest events of the summer, featuring the opening reception for the America 250 exhibition series happening across Erie County, plus our Summer Solstice Bazaar Market. We’re honored to host the countywide reception as we celebrate the artists, stories, and exhibitions taking place throughout the region. We will also be happy to welcome our neighbors, Altair, as they open their doors for their first Gallery Night. Our block will be filled with amazing artists, be sure to check us both out! 

Join us for the opening receptions, special events, or stop by during our summer open hours to experience the exhibitions at your own pace. Our space is open on Fridays from 4 - 11pm and Saturdays from 11am - 4pm.

It’s PRIDE MONTH and we’re creating space for every voice to be heard 🌈✨

Join us on Thursday, June 11 from 6-10pm for a special Pride Open Mic hosted by .dheaux and . In partnership with , this evening is all about celebrating self-expression, community, creativity, and the people who make Erie such a vibrant place to call home.

Whether you’re sharing a poem, a song, a story, or simply coming to support others, all are welcome. Let’s come together to uplift one another, celebrate Pride, and create a space where everyone feels seen, valued, and encouraged to take the mic.

Enjoy handcrafted cocktails featuring , along with PA-made beer and wine available at the bar.

Happy June and Pride Month, Erie! 🌈 🌞✨

Summer is almost here and we’re so excited to welcome you into another season of art, music, healing, creativity, and community.

This month brings First Fridays, live music, Pride events, 2 new exhibitions, summer vendor markets, community gatherings, and so many opportunities to connect with local artists, makers, musicians, and each other.

Our mission has always been bigger than events alone - we believe in creating meaningful experiences that enrich the mind, body, and soul while helping artists and community grow together.

Our summer markets officially begin this month and we can’t wait to spend the season supporting Erie’s local ecosystem of creatives, small businesses, healers, musicians, and dreamers 💫

We’re also excited to announce new summer open hours beginning today, June 1st:

Friday 4 - 11pm & Saturday 11am - 4pm

Outside of those hours, 1020 will continue hosting private events, community events, workshops, gatherings, exhibitions, and collaborative experiences all summer long.

If you’ve been looking for a place to host something creative, intentional, healing, or community-centered, we’d love to open our doors to you. Get in touch with us!
