Yesterday was a day of connection and community as RAACA National had the distinct honor of participating in Safe Journey’s PurpleOne Conference. Alongside dedicated members from our RAACA Erie PA, Raaca Venango Pa, and RAACA Crawford County chapters, we spent the day learning how to better recognize and address the critical moments of domestic violence. The atmosphere was incredibly moving, leaving us all with a renewed sense of purpose and unity.

We are deeply thankful for the opportunity to have shared meaningful conversations with keynote speakers Jim and Nichole Schmidt and Tara Petito, whose presence made an unforgettable impact on everyone in attendance. To top off an already powerful experience, RAACA was truly honored to have the privilege of escorting them into the conference while sporting high heels in red, blue, purple, and orange, representing our solidarity in the fight against domestic violence, child abuse, and teen dating violence. It was an inspiring day that none of us will ever forget!
