📣 Attention Nobles and Ladies!📣

⛱️ Our summer activities are ramping up, but Fall MASA in Virginia Beach, September 9th through the 12th, 2026 will be here before we know it. Don't miss out on the camaraderie, fun, food and drinks our annual trip to the beach has to offer.
The cost this year for Zem Zem Members is $50 less than last year's trip. Three nights is only $675, and four nights is $880. This includes your room, food, beverages and entertainment in our hospitality room, and MASA registration fees. Please see the flyers below for more information and other activities being offered by the MASA officers.
If you've been on this trip before, you know how much fun it is. If you haven't, it's time you found out!

Tuesday evening, Zem Zem's Divan members and their Ladies were honored to attend the Official Visit of Daughters of the Nile Supreme Queen Kathy Rafter at the Zem Zem Shrine. Her Official Visit covered Selket Temple No. 140 (Queen Rose Hepler, Erie) and Airys Temple No. 48 (Queen Lisa Dingel, Pittsburgh).
Emily Madder from Shriners Children's Erie was first to address those in attendance, followed by Syria Shriners' Chief Rabban Frederick "Fritz" Richardson and Zem Zem Shriners' Potentate, Burt Brocklehurst. Zem Zem First Lady Lisa Brocklehurst spoke about the 2026 First Lady's Project, an ultrasound machine for Shriners Children's Erie.
Her Majesty Kathy thanked everyone who came, and spoke of the bond between the Daughters of the Nile, Shriners International and Shriners Children's. She received Potentate's Pins from Ill. Sir Burt and Chief Rabban Fritz, and presented each of them with a pin she had made to commemorate the relationship between the D.O.N. and Shrine. It reads, "Nile ❤️ Shrine, Cherish the past - Embrace the future". She also told an entertaining story about a Shrine Event her parents attended approximately nine months before she was born. You can ask Her Majesty Kathy about that one when you see her. 😉

So anyways, you MAY have noticed that we at Zem Zem take and share a LOT of pictures. 😉 That being said, just when you thought you'd seen enough pictures from the 2026 Potentate's Luau Ball; here's another batch. 😁

Most of the pictures on our other posts and reels were taken by Zem Zem Lady Barb McKinsey, wife of Ill. Sir Russ McKinsey, PP; with other candids coming from Nobles and Ladies in attendance. This post features pictures taken by Seth Phillips, the son of Zem Zem's Chief Rabban, Keith Phillips and Lady Jen. He captured our special guests as they were introduced as well as a handful of candids.

Thanks Seth, Barb, and everyone else who took pictures of the Luau Ball. It was a great time and we at Zem Zem appreciate you all helping us share it with others!
