The final Quarterly Business Meeting of 2026 is on Wednesday, October 28th at 7 PM.
Nobles and Ladies are invited to enjoy some fellowship over a meal consisting of pizza, wings and fries prior to the meeting, beginning at 5:45. There is no charge for the meal, but YOU MUST RSVP so we know how much food to prepare. Please call the office at 814-833-3391. Leave a message with attendees' names if there's no answer. Please plan on joining Chief Rabban Keith Phillips and his Lady Jen at the 2027 Calendar Planning Meeting

When: November 1st, 2026 @ 11:00AM

Where: Zem Zem Shrine Club

Who: At least one representative from each Zem Zem Club and Unit

Why: To have an accurate way to let everyone know what is going on at Zem Zem and around the jurisdiction

Lunch will be provided, and ladies are invited to attend as well. Please call the Temple office or email [email protected] and provide your name, club and/or unit you are representing and the number of attendees to get a count for lunch. The Temple office number is 814-833-3391.

Leave a detailed message if there is no answer.

If there isn't a representative from your club or unit there, we will not be putting anything in the 2027 Calendar Book for you.

Following a delicious meal at the Col.Drake Shrine Club Wednesday evening, Lake Myrtle Lodge #316 members Andy Richey and Dylan Rust became Zem Zem Shriners' newest Nobles.
2026 Potentate Burt Brocklehurst administered their oaths and Chief Rabban Keith Phillips served as the Installing Marshall.

Sunday afternoon, over 300 ladies were treated to a Sunday Brunch served by our Nobles in formal attire for a wonderful cause. If you've never been to one of our First Lady's Jewelry Jackpot events, you're missing out on a really fun time!
This year's venue was the Hickory VFW in Hermitage. Included in the ticket price was a light brunch and a chance to win one of 24 great jewelry prizes. We also had a huge Basket Raffle and side raffles that included extra ticket chances, jewelry, designer purses and a 50/50. Cousin Nobles and co-emcees David and Chase Vassen entertained the ladies (for the most part 😉) all afternoon with their snappy banter. Several vendors set up tables with their wares, and they were well received by the ladies.
2026 Zem Zem First Lady Lisa Brocklehurst would like to thank everyone who helped make it a fun and successful event. From the first planning meeting until we turned off the lights, it was a total team effort from a lot of dedicated Nobles and Ladies.
Special thanks go to Chris and Bobbie Jean Smith and Russ Hopkins who donated proceeds made when they spent their Labor Day weekend parking cars at the Back to the 50's event in New Castle. Their total donation to the First Lady's Project was $3,402!
Thanks again to all who supported us. We're already looking forward seeing everyone next year. 😁

Our last Temple Function Parade of 2026 was the Conneaut Lake Pumpkin Fest Parade on Saturday.
We couldn't have asked for a better fall day and the big crowd of onlookers was incredibly enthusiastic.
Thanks go to the Zem Zem Patrol, our Legion of Honor, the Fez Flyers, the Motor Patrol, the Mercer County Wheel Patrol, the Cycle Corps, the Warren County Hornets and the Zem Zem Band for representing us so well! We were also honored to have Patient Ambassador Savannah ride along with us. 😁
After the parade, the Fez Flyers treated the Nobles, Ladies, family members and friends to a delicious meal, a few beverages and a lot of camaraderie at The Goat Bar and Grill on Conneaut Lake's West Side. All said and done, it was a great day to be a Shriner!

🚨 ATTENTION NOBLES!🚨

The third in our series of Town Hall Meetings regarding the relocation of the Temple is this Monday, October 12th at 6:30 PM at the Warren County Shrine Club in Clarendon. The WCSC and Hornets will provide pizza and beverages for those in attendance.
This meeting is only open to current Zem Zem Nobles, so please have your dues card available.
We hope to see you there. Come out and have your voice heard!

💍ATTENTION NOBLES!💍

This Sunday, October 11th is the Jewelry Jackpot event at the Hickory VFW in Hermitage. It is a Temple Function (points event).
We won't be providing kitchen help this year as we have in the past. All we will be doing is serving and assisting the ladies in attendance. If you are planning on helping, you must wear a tux or black suit with a white shirt, black cummerbund or vest (if you have one) and black necktie or bowtie.
The doors open at 10 AM, so please plan on arriving by 9:30.

Chinese Auction donations can be dropped off at the Hickory VFW on Friday or brought in the morning of the event.

📣 ATTENTION PARADE UNITS! 📣

The last Temple Function Parade of 2026 is the Conneaut Lake Pumpkin Fest Parade this Saturday morning, October 10th.
We will unload in the Firemans Beach parking lot. Please be unloaded and ready to stage NLT 9 AM for a 10 AM start. Parade Marshall Jon Andrus will direct units to the staging area.
After the parade, all Nobles are invited to bring their families and friends to The Goat Bar and Grill on Rt. 618 for lunch and beverages, compliments of the Fez Flyers. Tommy Guckert is trying to get a count for lunch, and he would appreciate it if participating units would contact him with an estimated number of guests.
