🏆 NY Joins California in Allowing High School Boys to Win Girls' State Titles
For years, parents were told this wouldn't happen.
Now it has.
🚨New York has joined California in allowing biological males to compete in girls' sports—and girls are losing state titles as a result.
Female athletes spend years training, sacrificing, and striving for championship moments, New York's policies are forcing them to compete against athletes who were born male.
This is exactly why sex-separated sports exist.
Title IX was intended to create opportunities for women and girls, not take them away. Yet New York continues to permit policies that place fairness, competitive integrity, and equal opportunity for female athletes at risk. A New York State Senate bill has even been introduced specifically to address concerns about protecting women's sports from what supporters describe as unfair competition.
California has become the national symbol of this debate after high-profile state championship victories by transgender athletes competing in girls' events, prompting lawsuits, federal investigations, and nationwide concern about the future of women's sports. New York has now become the lasted to allow this to happen.
The issue isn't whether every student deserves dignity and respect—they do.
The issue is whether girls deserve a fair playing field.
Female athletes should not lose championships, records, podium spots, or opportunities because adults are unwilling to acknowledge biological differences.
