Join us for the Erick Route 66 Roll & Stroll, a fun-filled community event celebrating movement, family, and the spirit of the Mother Road! Bring your friends, bring your family, and get ready to cruise, roll, and stroll your way along historic Route 66.
All wheels and all ages welcome! Whether it's bikes, trikes, training wheels, wagons, strollers, roller-blades, or anything else that has those spinning round things powered by your own 2-feet, everyone is invited to take part in this exciting event.
For our younger participants, we’ll have half-mile and one-mile routes for kids 12 & under that are ready to race, offering a safe and fun way to join in the action. Pizza prizes for winners from Main Slice Pizza and lots of give-a-ways!
Be sure to come hungry! We’ll be serving breakfast burritos as part of a fundraiser benefiting our Senior Meal Program and the Emergency Services Christmas Toy Drive. Every purchase helps support these important community programs.
Whether you’re in it for a leisurely stroll or a little friendly competition, Erick Route 66 Roll & Stroll is all about community, activity, and making memories together. Come roll with us!

The West Winds neon sign restoration will be officially illuminated at a special lighting ceremony on April 24 at 7pm.
After its long journey home along the Mother Road, the sign is currently undergoing testing and final repairs in preparation for its big debut.

We are pleased to announce a significant development for the West Winds Motel. The neon sign has been successfully restored, thanks to a Route 66 Revitalization grant provided by the Oklahoma Department of Commerce. Encinos Signs of Tulsa, who have been in possession of the sign since late September, are currently undertaking its reinstallation.

SWODA is offering a Facade & Sign Revitalization Incentive for retail buildings along Rt 66 in Wash*ta, Beckham, and Custer Counties.

✔ Reimbursement of up to 50% of project costs
✔ Maximum award: $25,000/applicant
✔ Eligible for facade, signage, windows, awnings, lighting & more

📅 Application deadline: February 20 at 5:00 PM
📍 Retail businesses that collect sales tax
🏢 Building owners only
🚧 Work must begin after approval
