We’re constantly reminded of the many ways this community shows up for one another, sometimes through hours of service, sometimes through generous support, and sometimes by bringing a little beauty into someone’s day.

RFWF programs happen because neighbors choose to show up for neighbors, and right now, we have several ways to get involved.

Some are regular commitments, while others are perfect for someone who simply wants to be on our list when an extra set of hands is needed.

Kitchen substitutes - as needed Mon/Wed/Fri
Delivery substitutes - as needed Mon/Wed/Fri
Cookie Bakers - at your convenience

When you can’t drive yourself, getting the healthcare you need can become a challenge all its own.

That’s where the RFWF CareVan comes in.

The CareVan provides door-to-door transportation for local neighbors, helping them get to important health and wellness appointments while maintaining their independence.

Our local Grocery Outlet is incredible about reaching out when they have significant sales on items our programs regularly need, which gives us the opportunity to stretch donated funds further and serve even more of our neighbors.

Today, that partnership helped us fill a pickup with entrées for our Backpack Weekend Meals Program!

And we have a BIG update as we prepare for the 2026–2027 school year:

✅ ENTRÉES: We now have enough to get us through September!
🥣 BREAKFASTS: 851 still needed for our first two weeks
🍎 SNACKS: 362 still needed for our first two weeks

A huge thank you to Grocery Outlet for looking out for our programs and helping us put every donated dollar to work where it can make the greatest impact.

Across every RFWF program, our volunteers show up to feed, serve, encourage, connect, and care for their neighbors. Whether it’s a meal, a ride, a helping hand, or simply a friendly face, the little things can mean so much.
