The people of Wallowa County are amazing, and the community spirit is alive and well! Thanks to Charlie Kissinger Construction, the Lions Club, Mike Rahn, Brian Rahn, and JayZee Lumber, the old cement patio is gone. The new deck is scheduled to be completed in the next two weeks.

Chad and Amy Stangel had a successful evening at the Keep the Legacy Alive Dinner/Auction. Amy's name was drawn for the door prize (flight for two into the Minam Lodge for breakfast) and Chad was the winner of the Sticky Golf Competition with a score of 200. We'll see if he can do better next year. A special thank you to both Chad and Amy for their hard work on the fundraiser. Amy designed and set up the venue and Chad and his Elks brothers provided everything we needed and tended bar. Thank You!!

These three lovely lady golfers are members of the Enterprise High School Golf Team. They served the hors d'oeuvres and bussed the tables and were a great help. They also each gave a short talk describing what they like most about Alpine Meadows Golf Course. Thank you, Calliegh Stonebrink, Hazyl Storlie and Peyton Fough.

Costumes help make the Keep the Legacy Alive dinner/auction fun! Eva Barnes won the prize for the best women's costume, a beautiful hanging basket from Blooms To Go. Tony Chrisman won the prize for the best men's costume, a hat and t-shirt from the Minam Lodge. It was only fitting that he award the t-shirt to his caddy, Julie Chrisman. There were lots of great costumes!!! See tomorrow's post.
