Amy Hafer Race for Awareness The annual Amy Hafer Race for Awareness is a run/walk in honor of Wallowa resident Amy Hafer who lost her battle with breast cancer at age 38.

Join us June 25, 2016 for the 9th Annual Race! The Amy Hafer Race for Awareness was launched in 2008 to honor Amy Hafer, a 1989 graduate of Wallowa High School, who lost her 18 month battle with breast cancer on November 25, 2007. The Race promotes health and early detection through regular check ups and important screenings such as mammography and colonoscopy.

Can't wait to see everyone in two weeks!

Be ready on the 25th to support your fellow cancer fighters and survivors!

Every year we are still adding people to this list. But let's make sure this list includes more and more survivors.

In addition to walking for Amy, this year I add my niece Karlee to the list of the people I am walking and fighting for... Let's keep fighting until we have a cure for all of those we love and support!

If you are walking for someone, please put their name out here so we can all walk, support, and pray for them as well!

Race today! If you haven't registered yet, no worries! Just come to Wallowa Memorial Hospital in Enterprise at 8:00 am and we will get you signed up and ready for the Race at 9:00 am. Healthy buffet and door prizes immediately after the Race in the Hospital conference room. Ribbons and special bronze dragon fly awards for first in each event, made by Amy Hafer's uncle, local bronze artist Tim Norman. See you there!
