Dear 100 WWC members,

The May 6th, 2026 meeting took place at the Room at 14th Star Brewery. We had a great turnout with 60 voting members, six of them as new walk-in members, and several guests in attendance!

We had three strong charities to choose from and we want to thank all the presenters: Beth White and guest presenters for Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 613 Youth Aviation Program, Nicole Grisgraber for Care Partners Adult Day Care Center and Cathy Sandvil for Enosburg Food Shelf.

After tallying the votes, Enosburg Food Shelf was announced as the charity winner for this quarter. The Enosburg Food Shelf's mission is to provide food for individuals and families who are experiencing food scarcity. They work with anyone who meets the federal economic poverty level in Franklin County. All of their funds come directly from individual donations and grants written by the director and/or board members. The donation money will cover the additional expense of USDA food that they can purchase, along with added foods not commonly available through the VT Foodbank.

Members in attendance are pictured with the check representing the funds given towards our February 2026 charity, Friends of Northern Lake Champlain
