What a great day at the Lauren’s County Sheriff’s Animal Shelter Adoption Event!

We loved meeting so many wonderful people and introducing them to some incredible shelter dogs.

The highlight of the day? One amazing dog, Daisy, found her forever family. 💚

Thank you to Big Air Laurens for hosting us and to everyone who stopped by to visit, ask questions, volunteer, and support the dogs waiting for a second chance. Every conversation, every share, and every adoption helps make a difference.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to partner with the Laurens County Sheriff’s Animal Shelter and look forward to helping even more dogs find the loving homes they deserve.

We’re excited to partner with the Laurens County Sheriff's Animal Shelter for their upcoming Adoption Event!

Join us at Big Air Laurens on July 21 from 10:30 AM–1:30 PM to meet some incredible dogs looking for their forever homes.

Every adoption at the event includes a complimentary 30-minute private training session with Legendary Canines, sponsored by Dog Patch Rescue.

We’ll be there to answer training questions, meet adopters, and help every new family get started with confidence.

If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who’s always up for an adventure, we’d love for you to meet Kit.

Kit is estimated to be 1–2 years old and has completed basic obedience training through Legendary Canines.

He is housebroken, crate trained, knows his basic commands, and is eager to learn. He genuinely enjoys working with his people and loves having a job to do.

His favorite things? Playing fetch, going for car rides, exploring new places, soaking up attention, and simply being with his people.

Kit has a fun, happy personality and is the kind of dog who is always excited to be part of whatever you’re doing.

Here’s what we’ve learned about Kit:�• Loves people and thrives on affection�• Great with other dogs�• Housebroken and crate trained�• Completed basic obedience training�• Food motivated and eager to please�• Loves to play and stay active

Because every adoption is about finding the right match, we also want to be transparent about what we’re still working on. Kit is still learning that cats don’t always want to play, so we believe he’d do best in a home without cats.

As with any newly adopted dog, we’ll help his new family with a smooth transition and are always available to answer questions along the way.

One of the things that makes adopting through Dog Patch Rescue a little different is that our commitment doesn’t end on adoption day. Kit has already completed his basic obedience training through Legendary Canines, and his adopter will receive a complimentary training session along with continued support to help set both Kit and his new family up for success.

We truly believe Kit is going to make an incredible companion for the right family.

Meet Kit. 🐾

If you asked us to describe Kit today, we’d tell you he’s happy, affectionate, eager to learn, and always ready for his next adventure. Whether he’s playing fetch, riding in the car, or soaking up attention from his people, he has a way of making everyone smile.

But this wasn’t always his story.

Like so many rescue dogs, Kit’s journey began very differently, and it’s a story we’re excited to share with you.

Over the next few days, we’ll take you behind the scenes of his transformation and show you how he went from an abandoned dog in need of help to the confident companion he is today.

The best part? Kit’s story isn’t finished yet.

He’s officially looking for his forever family, and we know the right one is out there.
