✔️ The WTS Northeast Region Council is exploring the possibility of hosting an in-person regional conference in 2028.
✔️ Planning an event of this scale requires significant time and resources, so we want to make sure there is strong interest from our membership before moving forward.

WTS International breaks up North America into six regions. Leaders representing all WTS chapters work to provide opportunities for collaboration and support to WTS members through regional initiatives and events.

WTS Central Pennsylvania's 2026 GOLF OUTING RECAP:

✔️ This year the Pennsylvania Turnpike joined the WTS Central Pennsylvania and Pennsylvania Association of Environmental Professionals (PAEP) Annual Golf Outing at Valley Green Golf Course on May 22, 2026.

✔️ Thankfully, even though the skies were dreary, the rain held off! Maybe next year we will finally have a sunny day. We had a fun day playing golf, networking with colleagues, and raising money to support both WTS Central PA and PAEP.

✔️ We had 18 teams attend the golf outing and twelve companies who sponsored the event. (Modjeski and Masters, TPDInc, Terracon, KCI Technologies Inc, Michael Baker International, HNTB Corporation, GFT Inc, NTM Engineering Inc, Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson, SAI Consulting Engineers, Inc., Susquehanna Civil Inc., McCormick Taylor, Inc.)

✔️ The money raised goes towards the WTS Central PA Foundation, including scholarships and Transportation YOU Programming, and PAEP’s Gifford Pinchot Scholarship and the Maurice Goddard Scholarship.

Congratulations to the individual skill winners and the overall team winners!

WTS Central PA’s ADOPT A HIGHWAY EVENT RECAP:

✔️After lots of rescheduling, the weather finally cooperated with us on June 3, and we had 8 of us total with many new faces.

✔️We collected quite a bit and enjoyed appetizers after at Appalachian Brewing Company, Mechanisburg with those who could stay.
