Coaching can bring can get more people involved! That’s what volleyball coach Jess Kaufman did and now her daughters became involved and n Special Olympics. Jess and her daughter led their team to bronze at the 2026 Special Olympics National Games in Minnesota for volleyball. 🏐

Her commitment to coaching for 25 years has led her opportunities for her, her daughters, and the athletes she coaches. She encourages people to get involved with our comminuty. Jess and her daughters learned a lot from their experience as coaches.

LANCASTER is in dire need of some BOWLING HELP!

They have ATHLETES ON A WAITLIST because they are shorthanded.

Whether you are already a registered Special Olympics volunteer or want to become one, please email [email protected] and/or [email protected] if you have any interest in brightening the lives of those athletes who are on the waitlist!

You don’t need to have any bowling experience to be an amazing bowling volunteer! Bowling volunteers monitor the lanes to make sure the correct bowler is bowling on the correct lane at the correct time. They also record scores at the end of the games. They encourage and support the bowlers. If there are any issues, they notify one of the certified coaches who are there coaching! ANYONE can do it!

It's World Mental Health Day. Your physical health isn't the only thing to improve when you sign up for sports with us. Your mental health can also improve by making friends, having an outlet, and prioritizing YOU!

By being a part of our community, you'll have the opportunity to build friendships and stay active that can go beyond sports. Your mind deserves just as much care as your physical health.

🚨 ATTENTION! We’ve emailed, made a number of phone calls, and posted to Facebook yesterday, but we are posting again to be sure everyone knows that we CANCELED the entire Capital Area Region FALL CLASSIC that was supposed to be held tomorrow, Sunday, at Hershey High School. Please spread the word. There will be no make-up.

The weather forecast includes heavy rain, winds, and localized flooding, so the decision was made to keep everyone off the roads and safe. We are all very disappointed and sad to have to cancel this event. We know how much everyone looks forward to it so much every year!

Brighter days are ahead! ☀️
