This year, we are replacing the Remind app with the TeamReach app as our primary communication tool. Through TeamReach, you will receive timely updates on sign-ups, competitions, practice schedules, meetings, volunteer opportunities, fundraising events, and any schedule changes or cancellations. Parents of shooting sports participants are required to download the app and enter the provided code found in the comments.

Hello 4H members, we're excited to announce this year's Hunter's Feed bake sale, benefiting our shooting sports programs. To make it a success, we need help with baking and sales; please let us know if you and your shooter can volunteer. The Hunter's Feed will be held on Friday, October 25th, from 2:45 pm to 5:30 pm.

Shooting Sports Leader Trainings!!

If anyone is interested in coaching shooting sports this year see below and reply to this post. We can help you get scheduled.

Kalispell – December 6-7, 2024. We will offer Coordinator, Archery, Rifle, Pistol, Muzzleloader, Hunting Skills, and Shotgun

Belgrade – December 13-14, 2024. We will offer Coordinator, Archery, Rifle, and Pistol

Β· Havre, Circle, and Malta. TBD. We will offer Archery, Rifle, and Pistol

The registration information will be updated Z-Suites. Please share this information with the Shooting Sports families in your county. Please see the criteria that must be satisfied to be a certified adult leader in Shooting Sports. To be a certified leader in the State of Montana, the following must be satisfied:

Be at least 21 years of age.
Be enrolled as a leader in their respective County. Passed a background check and successfully completed the Montana 4-H Volunteer Training Modules.
All training attendees must complete the four National 4-H Shooting Sports modules on Z-Suites to be certified at the end of the practicum day. Please go to the 4-H Shooting Sports College at 4-hshootingsportscollege.com. The code for Z-Suites is NSS-MSU-FQ99W5JMD. Please see the attached instructions.
Be trained and certified in any discipline(s) that they are teaching at the county level.
Participants must attend the entire training and successfully complete all aspects to receive their respective discipline certification.
Β· Certification is good for seven (7) years. If the discipline is not taught in the first 2 years, the course must be retaken.

Help us keep the rodeo barn available for shooting sports! We’d appreciate it if all of our shooters and their families would join us to pick up trash at the rodeo arena, this Sunday, at 9:00am. If you have gloves, please bring them!
