Good news!

Members of the Moose Pit BBQ committee had the pleasure of presenting Bennie's Barn Horse Therapy Ranch with a donation raised from our annual BBQ Competition.

We enjoyed speaking with Chip, Keith and team about their recent community support efforts and to see their new indoor horse riding facility that is being built to allow for more lessons regardless of the Oklahoma weather.

Calling all young people between the ages of 9-14!

You're invited to learn the basics of cooking BBQ at our "Moose Calves" Kids Cookoff on Saturday, June 18th, 2022

This event is open to the public and has no entry fee!

Registration is required - Parents, send us a message to receive a copy.

What to Expect:
10:00am Cooking Begins
12:00pm Lunch: Hot Dog
2:00 pm Snack: S'mores
4:00 pm Awards

The theme for the day will be Luau. The lodge will provide ribs and several smoker cookers for the contestants to use while receiving free BBQ lessons throughout the day from award-winning BBQ Champions.

The contestants will need to bring and use their own Rubs/Seasonings/Sauces for flavoring. All entries will be judged and awarded.

There will be adult supervision at all smokers.

We hope to see you there!
