What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?
1. Figure out what you love to do, and follow that passion towards your career
2. Never marry a project

Our second session, focused on Quality of Life and gave class members an inside look at the people, organizations, and attractions that make Enid such a vibrant place to live, work, and play.

From engaging discussions with community leaders to exploring downtown Enid, touring Leonardo's Children's Museum, Gaslight Theatre, David Allen Memorial Ballpark, Holden Art Gallery, Red Bird Farm, Back Nine Lounge, and Enid Axe, the day was filled with learning, collaboration, and inspiration.

A huge thank you to our facilitators Jenna Rosine and Mitch Ballard, and to the presenters and hosts who helped make this session a success. We are excited to see how Class 36 grows as leaders and advocates for our community throughout the coming year.

LGE Class ###VI kicked off the year with “Non-Profit Day” by learning from organizations that make a difference in our community every day. Through visits and conversations with leaders from the United Way of Enid & NW Oklahoma, Enid OK SPCA, 4RKids , YWCA Enid, Cherokee Strip Community Foundation, The CARE Campus, Youth and Family Services of North Central Oklahoma and Enid Street Outreach Services, class members gained valuable insight into the impact of service, collaboration, and community support.

Thank you to our facilitators, Dawn and Maranda, and to all of our hosts and speakers for sharing your missions and inspiring our class to lead with purpose and serve others.

Class 36 is already showing what makes Leadership Greater Enid so special.

Their journey kicked off last week with orientation and a team building retreat filled with learning, connection, and plenty of fun.

Class members started with icebreakers and a Working Genius session to better understand their strengths and how they collaborate. They then joined LGE alumni for an orientation luncheon before heading to the Pawnee Pit Stop, where challenges and group activities helped them build trust and confidence together.

The next day brought even more adventure in OKC — including dragon boat racing that pushed them to communicate, support one another, and lean into teamwork.

👏 We can’t wait to see how these early bonds shape their year of growth, leadership, and community impact.

This year's Youth Leadership Greater Enid just wrapped an AMAZING week!

Our students explored Enid’s business and industry sectors, got behind‑the‑scenes access, and jumped into hands‑on activities that pushed their leadership skills to the next level.

They built friendships, asked big questions, and showed us what the future of Enid looks like — bright, bold, and full of potential. We’re so proud of this group!
