Members of the Enid Police Department’s Police Explorers Program visited Topeka, Kansas, this weekend for the Capital Challenge.
Our Explorers competed in 10 law enforcement challenges, ranging from Active Shooter to Crisis Negotiation, against teams from six different states.
One Explorer also competed in the Top Explorer Challenge.
A special thanks goes to Officer Tara Turner-Coleman and Sgt. Tyler Evans for accompanying the group this weekend.
Enid Police Department’s Police Explorers Program is accepting applications from area youth with an interest in the field of law enforcement.
