Puppies anyone? 🥰 These girlies are ~13 week old Shepherd Mixes looking for their forever homes! Currently living it up in a foster home learning all the things about home life. They’re your typical puppies: friends with everyone and everything, full of energy (and p**p 🤪), and lots of naps in-between. These girls will need patience and consistency but are at the perfect age to be molded into the dog of your dreams, while being able to adjust to any environment. ​Are you ready to fall in love with a gorgeous, soulful face? Meet Margot, a stunning, sleek black beauty who is searching for her forever couch, her forever home, and her forever person!

​Margot is an absolute sweetheart who loves her humans fiercely, but don't let those soulful eyes fool you—this girl has opinions and a wonderful, sassy personality to match. She will keep you laughing, keep you on your toes, and remind you daily who the real queen of the castle is.

​🏡 What Margot is Looking For:

​Breed Experience is a MUST: Margot is a powerful, intelligent guardian-type breed (Cane Corso/Mastiff mix). We are strictly looking for adopters who have prior experience with large, working breeds. You should understand breed-specific traits, structure, boundaries, and the importance of continued socialization and leadership. She isn't just a pretty face; she requires an owner who truly speaks "Corso"!

​The Dog-Meet Policy: If you already have other dogs in your home, they must come to the rescue/shelter for an in-person meet-and-greet with Margot before adoption is finalized. We want to make sure everyone is best friends (or at least respectful roommates!).

​A Dedicated Family: Margot is looking for a home committed to providing her with structure, mental stimulation, and plenty of love.

​Personality: Affectionate, loyal, smart, and delightfully sassy when she doesn't get her way immediately.

​Energy Level: Balanced—enjoys her exercise and looking majestic, but equally loves lounging near her people.

We need HELPING hands at the pantry.

One of the ESPCA Alumni borrowed her dad’s credit card again! (Thanks Raven) 25 Fifty‑pound bags of dog food have arrived, and volunteers are needed in getting them unloaded into the pantry storage.

Update: Cocoa is no longer available but sister Hershey is still waiting!
Cocoa (fluffy brown/white) and Hershey (black/white) are still looking for their forever homes. 😔 We’re not sure why these girls are still available! They’re 7 month old shepherd mixes living it up in a foster home. They’re potty trained with a consistent schedule, do well with cats and dogs, and would do well with children. They can be a bit shy initially but warm up very quickly. 🥰 They currently sit at around 30 pounds and shouldn’t get much bigger if at all. We need your help! The ESPCA Pet Food Pantry has run out of dry food for our community’s at-risk pets. Can you donate a bag (or two)? Your kindness keeps pets fed and families together.

We accept partial bags, and we appreciate any brand.

If you would like to help, you can drop off your donations at ESPCA, 1116 Overland Trail, from 11 to 5 on Friday and 11 to 3 on Saturday.

🎉 YAY!!! 🎉 It was tux day today! Super friendly Seashell (a newcomer),and our second longest resident of just over a year, Beau-Vine, just charmed their way into some hearts! We’re THRILLED that Beau finally gets to be loved in a home 🏡 🥰. His adopter came with a mission. Help one of our longest residents, and that she did! We love this for them both! Congrats, kids! 🙌🏽

Holly and Molly are believed to be sisters who we will NOT be separating.

​While they are young, vibrant, and full of life (only 2 to 3 years old!), sweet Holly is categorized as hospice. She has a Grade 5/6 heart murmur that is non-operable. For Holly, every day is a gift, and her care is entirely focused on quality of life, love, and comfort.
​Even if you can’t commit to a permanent adoption right now, opening your heart and home to foster these two girls would mean the world to us. We are deeply grateful for anyone willing to give Holly the peaceful, loving final chapter she deserves, right by her sister Molly's side.

​Holly: Despite her heart condition, Holly is a happy, joyful soul who loves everyone she meets. She doesn't let her diagnosis dim her bright, loving spirit.

🐾 Kittens!!! Say “hello” to Flea, Firefly, Weevil, and Stink Bug! These boys are ready to find their final destinations, so if you’re looking for love, one of them might be just what you’ve been searching for! At 3.5 months old, they’ve been exposed to small children, other cats, and dogs. A couple are a little more shy than the others, but given that they were colony kitties this isn’t unusual. They’ll be great family members! Please come meet them in the lobby! 🐾
