Welcome “Chi-Chi Rodriguez” to the Enid SPCA🐾

This handsome boy joined us yesterday after being pulled from Animal Welfare and he has already stolen our hearts. Chi-Chi is a sweet baby who can be a little timid when meeting new people but with some reassurance, he quickly begins to show his loving personality. 🤍

We estimate Chi-Chi to be a 1 year old Dutch Shepherd mix weighing 32 pounds. He has been wonderful with everyone he has met so far and is very dog friendly. While we don't know about his past, his easygoing temperament leads us to believe he would thrive in a variety of homes and make a devoted, loyal companion for a lucky family.

Chi-Chi is scheduled to be neutered tomorrow and will be available to go into a home afterwards.

She is a 7-8 week old medium hair tortico looking for her forever home. 🏠 She has received her first vaccines, is feline leukemia negative, started monthly flea/tick prevention, has been dewormed, and will go for her spay in a couple weeks. Meet Agador Spartacus, or “Spartacus” for short. 🐶
This tiny guy may be small in size, but he has a huge heart full of love to give. 🤍

Spartacus joined us yesterday after being pulled from Animal Welfare and in less than 24 hours he has already made a lasting impression on everyone he's met. While he can be initially timid when meeting new people, it doesn’t take long for him to realize he’s safe. Once he does, his sweet personality shines through. He wants nothing more than to be held, talked to, and showered with affection. 🥺

We don't know what Spartacus's life looked like before coming into our care but we do know that he deserves a future filled with love, security, and kindness. Despite whatever challenges he may have faced, he remains gentle, affectionate, and eager to connect with people.
So far, Spartacus has proven to be dog friendly and wonderfully loving once he settles in. He also has that classic Chihuahua charm. Devoted, loyal, and happiest when he's RIGHT by your side. 😁

We estimate Spartacus to be around 2 years old and under 10 pounds. He could stand to gain a liiitttle weight. Spartacus is scheduled to be neutered tomorrow and will be available to go into a home afterward.

At 4.5 years old and around 50 pounds, Zorra is the kind of dog that makes everyone fall in love. This sweet Australian Cattle Dog mix gets along beautifully with dogs of all sizes, is cat friendly, adores children, and has never met a stranger. Seriously. Her gentle, loving personality makes her an easy fit for almost any home. 🫶🏼

Zorra's only special requirement is that she be fed separately from other dogs. Outside of mealtime, she is an absolute dream companion.
Sadly, Zorra continues to be overlooked because of her age and coloring, while younger dogs often receive all the attention. But what people are missing is an incredible family dog who is past the puppy stage, full of love, and ready to devote herself completely to her forever family!

Meet Delilah🤍
Delilah is a Chihuahua/Terrier mix weighing 17 pounds and estimated to be around 1.5 years old. This adorable little girl is an absolute sweetheart who loves people and is ready to find a family of her very own. 🏠

Delilah does okay with other dogs, though she appreciates companions who respect her space and boundaries. Like many dogs who have experienced uncertainty in their lives, she is working through some resource guarding around food and will benefit from a patient, understanding home committed to helping her continue to build confidence.

When we learned that Delilah was facing the heartbreaking possibility of euthanasia, we knew we had to step in and give her a chance. While we may never know everything she has been through, it's clear that life hasn't always been easy for her. 😞

Despite her past, Delilah continues to show her gentle spirit and her desire to trust. She is looking for a family willing to show her that the world can be a safe and loving place.

Peter was adopted about a year ago but recently found himself back in our care and is currently thriving in a foster home while he waits for his forever family.

Peter is just over 2 years old and 35 pounds. He is a Beagle mix with a sweet and affectionate personality. 🤍 He gets along wonderfully with other dogs, does well with small children, and loves people. While he may be a little shy when meeting someone new, he warms up quickly and once he does, you'll have a loyal companion who wants to be by your side every chance he gets. 🥰

Peter would do best in a home that can help keep him safe and secure. He should be walked on a leash or have a securely fenced yard, as we have heard he’s a bit of an escape artist, particularly if left alone for extended periods. Although his current foster has not experienced this with him personally.
