t Englewood residents with nonperishable food items, personal hygiene products, diapers, referrals to other appropriate services, assistance with their utilities. All services are provided free of charge to the residents of Englewood and the immediate surrounding areas. It is the mission of EHH to allow Englewood residents to access services locally and more readily. A fundamental goal of EHH is to proactively secure local services easing the confusion of living in a community that is divided by two counties. Services funded through Charlotte and Sarasota Counties are available at the EHH office. It is the role of EHH to provide temporary aid to Englewood families who need a helping hand getting on their feet. At EHH applicants are directed toward programs that will optimize available resources while helping individuals achieve independence. Our supporting churches are: Christ Lutheran Church, Englewood Church of the Nazarene, Englewood United Methodist Church, Fellowship Church, Crosspoint Nazarene, Trinity Lutheran Church, Living Hope Church, Gulf Cove United Methodist Church, Rotonda West Community Church, St. is blessed by 10 community churches, as well as donations from the community.
