We are excited to share that Sergio - a Challenge Foundation scholar & college graduate, is now a Challenge Foundation mentor. We love seeing our alumni come full circle!

Sergio graduated from Colorado Academy in 2020 and Colorado College in 2024 with a degree in Economics. Today, he works at Charles Schwab as a Client Banking Services Specialist Team Lead, and he is giving back to Challenge as a mentor.

We are so proud to welcome Sergio back to Challenge in this new role and grateful for the example he is setting for the next generation.

One of our favorite traditions is gathering our Challenge community for an evening of Lotería!

This year, we made it even more special with a community potluck. Families brought favorite dishes to share, and we spent the evening enjoying great food, lots of laughs, and several spirited rounds of Lotería.

We’re so grateful for these moments that bring our scholars and families together and make our Challenge community feel like family.

Prepping seniors for what’s to come!

Our rising seniors spent two days at College Boot Camp learning the college application process from the inside out.

We broke down the anatomy of an application, talked through what makes a personal essay land, walked line by line through what a financial aid package actually means, and then they got to work on their own applications.

They didn't just leave with information. They left with progress, and a much clearer picture of the year ahead.

Congratulations, Class of 2027. We can't wait to see where you're headed.

This summer, Challenge scholars took the stage for our very first Summer Program Talent Show!

Scholars shared their talents through singing, dancing and playing musical instruments and more. We were so proud of their creativity, confidence and willingness to step into the spotlight!

Over $1,000,000 raised!

Thank you to our incredible community for making this year's Canvas of Possibility breakfast our most successful event yet. Together we met our $405,000 event match and then rallied for another $50,000 after the event.
