In order for PYS to provide high quality youth sports programs we need your help! PYS is ran by volunteers to develop their athletes and the community of Englewood.

Huge congratulations to our 7th & 8th grade PYS 7on7 football team on winning the championship! 🎉🏈 These young men are the top team in Englewood and they went out there and REPRESENTED to the fullest!

To our players: You put in the work, you trusted each other, and today you proved what this program is all about. Keep this feeling close, this is what dedication, discipline, and heart looks like. Don’t ever forget it. 🙌

To our coaches: Thank you for showing up for these young men day in and day out. You pour into them far beyond football, and it shows. This trophy is yours too. 👏

Pirate Youth Sports + The City of Englewood are teaming up for a Park Clean Up at Centennial Park!

📍 Main parking lot at Centennial Park

We’ll be picking up trash around the lake to help keep our community clean and beautiful. The city will make sure the area is safe and provide PPE for everyone.

Congratulations to three of our teams for making the Final Four in the Gold Crown League this season!

6th Grade Boys – Negrin
Competing in the Elite Division (the top division), this team finished the regular season with a 7–5 record and battled their way to the semi-finals.

6th Grade Boys – Quirin
Playing in the Bronze Division, the team went 6–6 in the regular season and made an impressive playoff run before falling in the semi-finals.

8th Grade Boys – Devereaux
This team competed in the Silver Division and had an outstanding regular season, finishing 11–1 and placing 2nd out of 32 teams. They fought hard in the championship game but came up just a few points short.

Congratulations to all of the players, coaches, and families for a fantastic season! GO PIRATES 🏴‍☠️🏀

Another HUGE congratulations to our 6th grade girls team on an incredible season!

They finished the regular season 7–2 and brought home 2nd place in the JPS Bronze Division! 🥈🏀

This was their first year playing competitive basketball — and the first year this group has played together as a team — which makes their success even more impressive. The growth, teamwork, and confidence we’ve seen from each of these girls has been amazing.

We are so proud of them and can’t wait to see what they accomplish next season! 💪🔥🏀
