Did you know that the International Day of Charity is a global observance held every September 5 to raise awareness and encourage people, charities, and stakeholders worldwide to help others through volunteering and philanthropic activities. This year, we are asking all who can to support the Toastmasters community by giving $5 (or more) on the fifth. After being struck by Hurricane Melissa in October 2025, donations went to assist District 81 members to pay for membership renewal dues . Any contribution you can make on this special day of charity and gratitude will help us be prepared for when the next humbling event hits. Thank you for your continued support! Members of the Moratuwa Toastmasters club in Moratuwa, Sri Lanka, enjoy the Toastmaster magazine at the Galle Fort in Galle, Sri Lanka, during a trip to the southern region of the country. During their trip, the club members also visited Coconut Tree Hill in Mirissa and the coastal town of Unawatuna.
