VISION
Care, Commitment and Community are the guiding principles of the American Friends of the Chronic Care Center. By providing necessary resources to families of children living with diabetes or thalassemia, we hope to contribute in building healthier communities in Lebanon. MISSION
To support children with Type 1 Diabetes or Thalassemia as well as their families seeking care at the Chronic Car

e Center in Lebanon, through:

1. Raising awareness about the role of the CCC in Lebanon and its impact on building healthy generations.

2. Securing funds that will facilitate access to the latest medical treatments, psychological support and social integration regardless of the parents’ ability to pay.

3. Ensuring continuous availability of medications such as in-kind insulin and desferal and of equipment such as pumps for chronic treatment

4. Facilitating research through affiliations and exchange programs in the fields of prevention and treatment of Type I Diabetes or Thalassemia.

We invite you to use and share this platform to spread awareness about children and adolescents living with Type 1 Diabetes and Thalassemia and to help us fundraise to keep their medical treatments available.
