What a wonderful opportunity to bring joy to the seniors at Brookdale in Englewood! The activity director shared that the residents would love to receive Christmas goodies, such as toiletries like shampoos, conditioners, body wash, and warm soft socks. With 40 residents, including 10 men and 30 women, our collective efforts can make a real difference. Would you like to join in and help make this holiday season brighter for them?

Next up is the Leadership Englewood from the Englewood Chamber of Commerce. They adopted a road that they call Englewood Elites, and it is part of Beach Rd. Our favorite part about this group is that we see all the ways that they give back to Englewood and they still make time to take care of their road. Then there are the photos we receive with their reports. Those are priceless and make our day!
Catching them was tough because their adopted roadway was severely impacted by the two hurricanes and they were out doing other work in the community. We did finally get to recognize them at the Beach Rd Cleanup on what seemed to be the coldest day of the year! Erica Raymond and a few other chamber members were in attendance. The Englewood Elites are the 23.24 KCB Ambush Award winners for Adopt A Road. Congratulations to you all and keep up the great work!
