Meet Saba Kamaras & Dr. Julie Sanchez, Co-Founders of Spoonie Threads ✨

Spoonie Threads was created at the intersection of lived experience and medical insight. After witnessing the real challenges individuals face when living with medical devices, Saba and Julie came together to create clothing that offers both function and self-expression.

For over a decade, they’ve been designing adaptive apparel that supports people through every stage of life—from childhood to adulthood—without sacrificing personal style.

Their work is deeply intentional. From magnetic closures and access points to thoughtfully placed pockets and device-friendly designs, every detail is created to improve ease, comfort, and quality of life.

Guided by their Adaptive Fit Consultant program and partnerships within the disability and chronic illness community, Spoonie Threads ensures their designs are shaped by real, everyday experiences.

This is more than clothing. This is support. This is dignity. This is thoughtful design in action.

✨ Mark your calendars for May 8 and join us for Adaptive Night at Denver Fashion Week—where you’ll experience Spoonie Threads and a powerful lineup of designers reshaping what fashion can be. Link in Bio to get your tickets!

Meet Stephon Matthews, Owner & Designer of Cleft Confidence ✨

Stephon launched Cleft Confidence after attending a Cleft Conference in 2022, where he experienced something powerful—being in a space filled with people who shared similar stories, yet noticing how little representation existed beyond medical environments.

From that moment, Cleft Confidence was born—not just as a brand, but as a movement.

His work is rooted in shifting the narrative from hiding to being seen. Through bold, vibrant, and expressive designs, Stephon creates space for confidence, pride, and individuality within the cleft community and beyond.

In addition to design, he shares his story through performance and dance—bringing his message of resilience and empowerment to life in multiple forms.

This is more than fashion. This is visibility. This is confidence. This is community.

✨ Mark your calendars for May 8 and join us for Adaptive Night at Denver Fashion Week—where you’ll experience Cleft Confidence and an incredible lineup of designers reshaping what representation looks like on the runway. Link in Bio to get your tickets!
