Some kids are hungry. Some kids need help learning to read. Others need mentors in their community. You can help improve these issues and more – one child at a time. Your support and participation help kids realize a brighter tomorrow. HELP US CHANGE THE FUTURE
We’re a new Kiwanis club working to change the future for children in Enfield. Kiwanis exists to help children around the world. Some popu

lar projects that help kids include installing reading rooms in schools, packing backpacks with school supplies and programs that teach skills or provide safety lessons. The members of this new Kiwanis club will look at the needs of children in the community and decide the projects that will benefit local kids.

Our Kiwanis Club of Greater Enfield put on a terrific 2nd Annual Bike Rodeo last weekend! The weather was perfect, the volunteers were happy and excited, and the parents and kids had a great time! Special thanks goes to Town of Enfield Police Department and Police Explorers Program, Thompsonville Fire Department, Enfield CT Rotary Club , Enfield Elks Club , Enfield Food Shelf, Inc. , BiCi Co. Six lucky kids won a brand new bike in our raffle, and many free helmets were given out. Our mission is to make children's lives better, and we certainly did that for these kids!

WOW! Great news!

Good news in the fight against maternal and neonatal tetanus (MNT): The disease has been eliminated in Sudan and South Sudan — a significant public health milestone!

Kiwanis has been proud to support UNICEF’s efforts to eliminate MNT worldwide since 2010. Through extensive vaccination and education campaigns, this painful and deadly disease has now been eliminated in 51 of 59 priority countries.

THANK YOU to all who supported our first Trivia Night fundraiser! 🥳 What a fantastic evening! Thank you again to all who were able to attend this fun event, with a special thanks to New England and Bermuda District Governor, Adam Wright, who gave an outstanding call to service and told us a bit more about Kiwanis. Congratulations to all the winners!!
