Parent Ambassador Out & About
Did you catch KITE's Parent Ambassador, Kaytlyn, at the FRC's Story Walk at Stocker Farm? She and her kiddos enjoyed walking through the meadow and reading the Gigantic Turnip written by Aleksei Tolstoy and Niamh Sharkey. Along the way, they saw lots of pollinators and plenty of plants. Once the walk was over, the group got to visit with some baby chicks, play games, and explore a big blue tractor. What a fun morning on the farm! If you see Kaytlyn out and about, say hi!

KITE and the Family Resource Center recently hosted a special dinner in honor of Provider Appreciation Day. It was a wonderful evening filled with great food, thoughtful gifts, and meaningful conversations about the current landscape of early childhood. We are so grateful for the providers who make such a lasting impact in our community!

Kaytlyn and her children are frequent visitors at the Enfield Public Library's Story Time. They enjoy reading stories, creating crafts, and singing songs while dancing to get their wiggles out! After Story Time, they love to explore the library. This is one of their favorite reading spots! If you see her at the library, be sure to say hello!

KITE has been focused over the past year on transitioning under the Office of Early Childhood to become Enfield's Local Governance Partner (LGP). Last Wednesday, KITE invited Dave Bechtel from Cross Sector Consulting to lead a discussion at KITE's Community Table Meeting. Using the data we've gathered so far, we’re working to better understand our community’s needs and shape a meaningful action plan for what comes next.

**Enfield UnPlugged Recap**

The Enfield UnPlugged Little Gardener's Workshop saw multi-generational participation during screen-free week. KITE's Parent Ambassadors were at the Enfield Public Library meeting families while leading a hands-on planting activity. Over 30 children and their families decorated small pots and then planted seeds to take home and nurture throughout the summer.
