Scouts BSA Girls Troop 416 Endwell, NY BSA Troop 416 was founded in April 2023 for female youth ages 10-18. It is located in Endwell, NY.

For over 100 years, our program has helped create generations of leaders and outstanding citizens by allowing boys and girls to explore their interests, serve their communities, and discover their talents through youth-led activities like hiking, camping, and volunteering! Troop 416 serves girls from 10-17 in Endwell, NY and the surrounding areas.

Assistant Scoutmaster – Founding Member, Troop 416

This week we’re proud to spotlight Shannon Twigg, a founding member of Troop 416 and a dedicated Wood Badge–trained leader. Shannon’s commitment to Scouting goes above and beyond, and she was recently honored with the Hiawatha’s Helpers Award for her exceptional service.

She has taught multiple sessions at the University of Scouting, volunteered at Cub Adventure Weekends for more than two years, served as a merit badge counselor, and taught at IOLS/BALOO and other training events.

Troop 416 is teaming up with Krispy Kreme for a delicious fundraiser you won’t want to miss!

Join us on Saturday, May 31, 2026 from 8am–2pm at Lowe’s in Vestal to grab some fresh doughnuts and support our spring trip to Niagara Falls & the Buffalo Naval Park.

All scouts must have a Class B uniform for the year.

🔥 Troop 416 Safety Moment: Charcoal Safety 🔥

As we head into camping and cooking season, here’s an important reminder about charcoal safety for all scouts and families.

When using charcoal:
• 🚫 Do NOT use chemical fuels or accelerants—they are not permitted in Scouting activities.
• 🔥 Always light charcoal using safe methods like chimneys or approved fire starters.
• 👨‍🏫 Ensure proper adult supervision when starting or managing any fire.
• 🌳 Only build fires in safe outdoor areas, away from hazards.
• 🚱 Never leave a fire unattended and fully extinguish it when finished.
