J. Ralph Ingalls Building Update:

We are happy to share some recent progress on the J. Ralph Ingalls Building as we continue working toward our goal of restoring the building for community use.

One of our immediate priorities has been improving exterior lighting for safety and security. We are pleased to report that the lights in the portico have been repaired and are now functioning with new LED bulbs installed. Work is also underway to restore wiring to the exterior floodlights so that lighting can be added around the sides and back of the building.

We have also made progress with heating. The pre-existing heating system that serves the upper level of the building has been partially restored and is now running. During this process, new ductwork was fabricated to reconnect the library to the system, as the original ductwork was missing.

At this time, we are researching options for heating the main level of the building and evaluating the best long-term solution.

Each of these steps moves us closer to bringing the building back into active use for the community. We appreciate the continued support and interest as the work moves forward.

The Nanticoke Valley Historical Society will be commemorating the tenth anniversary of Maine Endwell Little League's World Series championship with a special exhibit at the museum.

We're looking for donations or loans of memorabilia such as uniforms, photos, and mementoes to display in the exhibit.

Join us for an Easter-themed mosaic cross event! ✝️ Friday, March 27, 2026, at 6:00 PM, at Maine Federated Church. Please refer to the event page above for further details. Our recent glass class fundraiser was another success! Here are some examples of the green-themed suncatchers prior to firing in the kiln. ⭐️ This class marked the one-year anniversary of Jablon Studios glass class fundraisers benefiting the J Ralph Ingalls School Building fund!
