Girl Up is an affiliate of the United Nations Foundation. As a club, we aim to empower girls and boys throughout the world and in our own community through advocacy, education, and by providing resources. One of our goals this year is to focus on reproductive health, specifically to provide girls with feminine hygiene products. Through generous donations, we have been able to supply the bathrooms with these products at Union Endicott high school and Jennie F. Snapp middle school. As a result, we were able to upgrade the bathrooms at the high school with the help of Toby Riddleberger by removing the 1950's sanitary pad dispensers and replacing them with shelving to place our boxes full of products on. Additionally, we are expanding to the boys by offering person care bags to boys in need. Check out some of the photos of our project below!
