Does the church have an obligation to support the modern government of Israel?

Rom 9:6-8 6 It is not as though God’s word had failed. For not all who are descended from Israel are Israel.
7 Nor because they are his descendants are they all Abraham’s children. On the contrary, “It is through Isaac that your offspring will be reckoned.”
8 In other words, it is not the children by physical descent who are God’s children, but it is the children of the promise who are regarded as Abraham’s offspring.

Who is Paul referring to by The Promise/Abrahams offspring? 👇🏼

Gal 3:16 “The promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. Scripture does not say “and to seeds,” meaning many people, but “and to your seed,”[i] meaning one person, who is Christ.”

In the New Covenant Christians are Abraham’s seed.

Stoked to have Tibs (from Europe), and Abner (from Costa Rica) with our group last night! It’s such a testimony to the family of God when we feel an indescribable closeness with foreigners that we meet. Many of these guys just met and yet you would think they were family by looking at this photo. Even though I’m out of town on vacation in Tahoe, these faithfull soldiers had a great meeting.

This life is a gift and you have a calling. It’s time to recognize the spiritual gift(s) you have and use them.
The team in the wheelchair are my neighbors Braden and Ansin whom I felt God nudge me to make friends with. I’m now teaching him surfing and bjj, and he’s coming to our CS meetings. As for his lil bro, Braden is the coolest dude in town n he loves the Lord. Don’t ignore that voice that tells you to do when your voice says don’t. God has divine appointments like this for us every single day. In case you were wondering, Xena and Gus won that one ☝🏼🥇

Thankfully we serve a God that is patient and long suffering. He speaks to us through His word and a still small voice....

Thankfully we serve a God that is patient and long suffering. He speaks to us through His word and a still small voice. He encourages us to draw close to him, and he will draw close to us. I’ve learned over the years that when I’m close to Him, I can hear that voice very clearly. And being close to Him means walking in obedience to Him. Remember, He is patient and He loves us, which means He will get our attention any way he can. Hopefully he won’t use a street sign! How is He getting your attention?

What's up CS PEEPS! Let's plan a beach hang out gathering! I'm proposing in the next few weeks we meet for a surf and beach hang out at George's (North of Seaside). Let's make it a pot luck style so everyone can grind after the surf sesh! Let me know if Sunday the 12th, or Sunday the 19th work for you guys! Then we'll create an Event and put the word out. Bummer Nate's in Virginia, but on the bright side at least we'll be able to get some waves without his logger wave hogger butt there LOL!

On my heart to share! 💞🙏🏻

Honour the name of Jesus through toil and triumph... We are NOT expect a trouble-free life. Jesus warned us that in this life we would experience trouble (John 16:33). Faith does not keep you from trouble but it helps you get through it. Focusing on your troubles deters you from the one who can carry you through them; and be willing to sacrifice in order to bring honour to His name. He is an all powerful God, and in control. Lift up your voice, and roar the name of Jesus! Proclaim the name! Let it sing from your heart! It will be 'as sweet as honey' and will transform those who believe!

Update on my journey (following His steps):

Settling into my job well (taking lead, and having guidance). I have been tearful, feeling lonely, and working through some pain, but the Spirit is alive and well, and really delving into the singleness and connecting with Jesus on a more intimate level, personally!

I am actively trying to get connected into a local church as of now :) it felt like I was holding my breath without the regular fellowship... (praise Jesus 🙏🏻).

It is a blessing to have a move during this Christmas season. Firstly, IT's MY FAVOURITE SEASON!! Lights, nativity scenes, I can laugh and sing to myself, and if people look at me, I just say, 'Tis' the season,' and it doesn't seem as weird then haha!! Secondly, lots of events, carols, church services, parades... so making use of the opportunity to connect... laugh, jingle, and jolly-about the place. Pray for a home group, and more opportunity to fellowship... I know God's plan for me here is something special, so having patience, perseverance, and welcoming in with willingness to humbled beginnings for this next chapter of my life. Waiting for that 'home' feeling... I know it is here... 💞🤸‍♂️

I have been invited to a Christmas dinner, and going to help sell Christmas trees this coming weekend (looking forward to the hope of buying my own someday); drink cider with some older ladies, and there kids, and we're going to discuss starting our own bible study locally. So far it's me, and two 50yr olds haha... its precious to me... they are such young at heart souls, and meet with my old soul with that pure childlike enthusiasm. It is an answer to prayer - to find Titus 2 mentors, which I asked one of them... she hugged me! We worshiped!

Anyway, update! P.s thank you guys for the messages, phone calls, and continual prayers... miss you all!
