Loda Shaw - The Value of Relocation Astrology — Relocating Your Natal Chart

When life prompts a move, whether through career, family, relationship changes, or financial need, astrology offers powerful guidance. Most practitioners begin with astro-mapping, but that is only the first step.

This lecture explores the technique of relocating the natal chart to a new geographic location. We will examine what remains constant, the planets in their natal signs and degrees, and what fundamentally shifts: the house cusps, the Ascendant, and the Midheaven, all recalculated for the new latitude and longitude.

We will discuss how this restructuring reframes planetary emphasis across the twelve houses, why certain life areas become activated or quieted in a new location, and how dormant aspects of personality can surface in a different environment.

By the end of this lecture, attendees will understand why relocation astrology provides a fuller, more personal picture than astro-mapping alone, revealing the opportunities, challenges, and version of themselves most likely to emerge in their new home.

Henry Seltzer - Shamanic Planets: Pluto, Chiron, and Eris in Charts
In consultations, the importance of Pluto cannot be disputed, as he identifies areas where evolutionary growth is not only encouraged but demanded. I also routinely check Chiron placements when working with clients, because the inner wounding that is thereby revealed is important to discuss as representing challenges to enacting our fullest authenticity.

Along these lines, and as I have documented in my book on Eris, The Tenth Planet, this Feminine Warrior can also be shown to be extremely significant as a guide to soul intention. Taken together, these planetary archetypes that go to depth within the psyche are entirely significant in any humanistically oriented chart analysis or reading.

At the conclusion of Henry’s presentation, attendees, both in person and via Zoom, will have the opportunity to volunteer their natal chart details for a brief analysis using the shamanic planets discussed during the talk. Please do not submit chart information in advance; Henry will select participants from those in attendance.

Exploring the multifaceted nature of Jupiter opens a door, granting us an audience with him in his inner domain. Jupiter, as king of the gods, is unique in many ways. What does it mean to be king of the gods? What role does the mythology of Mount Olympus play in our lives? Who is Jupiter, really?

To understand the critical role that Jupiter plays in each one of our lives, we need to come to terms with many things. Why does creation exist, and what is Jupiter’s function in fulfilling this cosmic purpose? This is the foundation for understanding what Jupiter does for each of us.

As the higher mind, Jupiter provides the ability to make good judgments, to find shortcuts, to strengthen our moral fiber, and to avoid actions that will disappoint us in the long run. Jupiter rules everything that has to do with the “long run”. Where does this ability come from? What role does he actually play in our lives, and how is he integrated into our personality in a way that makes him relevant? Come and find out.
