A new school year can be exciting, but for many families, it can also be stressful. 🚌

That’s why our Ready, Set, School program has been helping local students start the school year with confidence since 1997.

Through this program, students in Encinitas, Cardiff, Solana Beach, and Del Mar receive gift cards to purchase new school clothing, helping ensure they have what they need to walk into the classroom feeling prepared and ready to learn.

What started as a response to a need in our community has grown into a program that now supports more than 1,000 local students each year. ✨

A day we’ll never forget. 💜✂️ After nearly 30 years of serving our community, we officially celebrated our transition to an independent nonprofit with a ribbon-cutting ceremony surrounded by members, community leaders, partners, supporters, and friends.

Thank you, Encinitas Chamber of Commerce! We’re grateful for your recognition and support as we begin this next chapter as Impact Coastal Alliance.

A special honor from the Mayor of Encinitas. We were proud to receive a Certificate of Recognition celebrating our commitment to serving the local community and keeping support right here in North County.

We’re honored to be recognized by the California State Assembly for our work supporting local students, survivors, families, and community members in the North County San Diego area.

A certificate and message of encouragement from Senator Blakespear’s office as we step forward as an independent nonprofit. We’re excited about the opportunities to strengthen our programs, partnerships, and impact throughout District 38.

Pam was recently recognized as the San Diego County District Attorney’s Office Volunteer of the Year and honored by the County Board of Supervisors at their annual Volunteer Recognition Ceremony.

While Pam generously serves with several organizations throughout our community, we’re especially proud of her work here at Impact Coastal Alliance.

Pam helped develop our partnership with One Safe Place, which created new opportunities to support local survivors and families and strengthened our IMPACT Survivors programs.

This past year, our IMPACT Survivors programs helped provide clothing, essential resources, emotional support, and ongoing care to over 1,000 survivors and families right here in our community.

Some of the strongest people in our community still need support.

Through our Thrive program, we support teens at One Safe Place who have experienced domestic violence, abuse, and other traumatic events.

After completing a year of therapy, these teens come together each month to build confidence, develop leadership skills, form meaningful connections, and find support among others who understand what they’ve been through.

We provide supplies, meals, and activity materials to help make these experiences possible, and to support their week-long summer camp, Camp Hope, which allows these teens the opportunity to grow, connect, and simply enjoy being kids.

Programs like Thrive remind us that healing doesn’t happen overnight. It happens through community, consistency, and knowing you’re not alone. 🫶

We’re honored to partner with One Safe Place and support these incredible young people as they continue their journey forward.

And if you’d like to help make programs like this possible, every thrift shop donation, store purchase, financial gift, and annual membership helps us continue supporting the local community.

Some of our most meaningful work happens behind the scenes.

Through our Surviving After Violence (SAV) program, we help provide comfort, dignity, and practical support to individuals receiving care through the Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence Unit at Palomar Health.

Because these brave individuals often need to leave their clothing behind as evidence, our organization provides essentials like clothing, toiletries, blankets, emotional support items, and other resources to help them take the next steps forward.

It’s impossible to erase what someone has experienced, but we can remind them that they are not alone!

And we wouldn’t be able to do this without the generosity of our community.

If you’d like to help us continue this important work, there are many ways to get involved. You can donate items, give a financial gift, make a thrift shop purchase, or become a member volunteer who gives of their time and money.

Whether you donate, become a member, or help us spread the word, every act of support helps us serve local survivors right here in our community. 💜
