We’re all Generation One, a self propagating force of love that is our true nature. To us that looks like breathing, moving, dancing, expressing, teaching, learning, loving, respecting, appreciating, helping together. What We Do
We organize events in and out of our community that are aligned with our mission of cultivating and elevating uplifting energy. We support energy producers in the development and facilitation of classes and workshops which raise the vibration in our community and all beings everywhere. As an "energy incubator" we provide event space, equipment and financial scholarships to help launch new workshops. We raise money for charitable organizations. Last year we helped raise over $14,000 for the Alpha Project focused on helping San Diego's homeless population. Our goal is to double that this year. How You Can Help

Summer recap!

#1 Summer Solstice for estival_events + Church Of Music | COM colab. I had the privilege to play as the sun set on the longest day of the year, sharing the stage with Maria Kangin, INBTWN, Luis Triptych, 🪸🫧𝒜𝓃𝑔𝑒𝓁𝒾𝓃𝑒,, farmhand_official, Ari Marsh, Kai Kenner, and EVA BLU. Such a great start to the season!

#2 Leucadia Pride - Organizing this annual exercise in visibility has been so rewarding. This year’s celebration was the best by far! I was joined by ARKTKfox, Senzø, .blue, Aaron Kizziar and the DJ debut of Dizzle for a parade, afters, and after afters. Best of all, we raised $3,400 for North County LGBTQ Center

#3 4th of July for DAYBREAKER SAN DIEGO. Downtown with a view of sunset and fireworks. The high priestess herself, AlINA aka Sunshine C.o.M. opened things up with yoga led by Olivia then I had the chance to play b2b with Mr. Bold accompanied by live drumming from Ari Marsh and . Malaya Rose provided a beautiful closing serenade. Thanks to Ben Cote • TrulySimple for putting that together. Looking forward to more!

#4 So many for rundance. In our 6th season of this community fueled forward moving dance party, we experienced growth a little beyond the capacity of our beloved Beacons backyard (literally). This free program has been foundational to building Generation One and we are committed to seeing how we can keep it going next season. If you have ideas on a venue for a weekly sunset dance music gathering, please reach out.

#5 San Diego Pride - Hands down the best party of the year. In our 4th year of participation, we had a large contingent in the parade and then kept the vibe going at the end of the parade route in Balboa Park with sets from .blue, ARKTKfox, GEN1, Aaron Kizziar, Skandar, Senzø and Mr. Bold.

#6 Art + Music Activation collab with Art session + Jen Dream collab with Steph Bell May from Art session and Jen Brown aka stardustandearth. Live figure drawing with the fierce Meghan Nicole, vibey sunset set from Nicki G 🌿 and I closed out the night with peak primal energy from a small crew of my favorite dancers.

Ecstatic Dance San Diego returns Friday, September 18th, to Dance North County in Encinitas with GEN1 guiding our Ecstatic Dance journey.

Originating in 1997 as a founding member of the San Diego artist collective and recording label, We Are One, Gen1 has been orchestrating community fueled dance music events for decades.

Ecstatic Dance is a community movement, a sacred space for you to explore, unwind and unfold your true expression.

Leucadia Pride Saturday 6/27 11AM Grandview Parking Lot

Join us for the third annual Leucadia Pride dance parade, a fundraiser for

We’ll start at 11 AM at the Grandview Parking lot on Neptune and dance parade down Neptune with the electric DJ Chariot leading the way. DJ sets by ArktkFox, Gen1, and more. The parade is free for all to attend!

Registration is required to attend the Leucadia Pride after party at a nearby private residence. More information on gen1.love website or use the link in bio.

This is the third year we have organized this community fundraiser for the and one of the most important years ever.

The Center is a beacon of service for the ENTIRE north county population operating a food pantry, free mental health counseling, and, soon to be added, medical clinic open to all. But, it’s no surprise that they are facing a massive cut in grant funding both on the federal and state level. In a time where LGBTQI+ rights are being taken away, supporting local resources dedicated to defending those rights is especially important.

To that end, we are holding a virtual raffle as part of this year’s fundraising efforts. We have already received pledges from , , and more. Raffle tickets are $5 each of 5 for $20 and you DON’T need to be present to win. You can buy tickets on our website gen1.love or use the link in the bio.
