Who Is Ace Garate ?
Ace Geovanny Garate Born 8th day of September 2005. Ace was a Son, Brother, Grandson, and Most importantly a Giver. Ace had a Heart bigger than Anyone you would have ever met. Ace wanted more than anything to see Smiles on others faces. That is what drove Ace to Do Good Deeds, rather Unspoken or spoken. Ace was Friends with the kids at school that needed Friends, Ace would try to cheer up anyone he felt needed cheering up. Rather it was a simple Hello to that kid that no one says hi too, Or a “Hey, How you doing?” to a kid that needed to vent. Aces Passion was Fundraising, Ace would call it “FUNraising”. No matter if there was a prize for whoever raised the most amount of money, or getting to smash an Egg on a teachers head, or no prize at all, Ace would Go Above and Beyond Raising pennies or dollars for whatever cause it was. He really took it to heart to know the reason behind the fundraising. He would put himself in their shoes and would do what he would want to be done for him if he was them.
Ace had an internal Drive in him to Live Better, Do Better, Love Better. It was a special thing in him that he set out to do. Ace was in Love with Jesus and his story. Ace didn't go out to be Jesus, But he learned at a very young age that all he had to do was just love everyone, no matter what! Having that love for people is what made him be that special kid. He was on that Path to really make a difference in this world. He touched so Many Lives, He knew NO strangers! Ace was Really into Worship Music and Hearing about how Jesus lived his life. Sunday Mornings at Church Ace would not go to his Teenage classes, he wanted to stay with the grown-ups to sing those Worship songs. As parents we loved hearing him sing, His Voice was the loudest, that was for sure. We would see many heads turning our way, trying to see where that voice was coming from :). On Wednesday Youth Group meetings Ace would get his rollerblades on and Skate there, he would go there 45 minutes early to help set up and would be the last one to leave making sure he helped put everything away.
He would love to Help no matter where we would be at he wanted to be helping out in any way. If he was out on his rollerblades he would stop and chat with an elderly person just to make sure they had someone to converse with. He would Ride his Mower to his Aunts house about 8 blocks away to mow. He had Grown up Friends that he knew on the way that he would make sure to stop by and say hi to, or just wave as he rode by, if someone's yard needed mowing, he would just pull up and mow it, He would do this without telling anyone. We Only learned of all his good deeds after his Graduation from Earth to Heaven. Strangers would approach us and tell us how they Knew Ace and the conversations they had with Ace or the good deeds Ace would do for them. Even If it was something small like taking a Newspaper from the driveway up to the door for someone or if it was Helping someone unload a Uhaul for hours. He didn't hesitate to just jump in there and help and expect nothing in return. Ace was a Walking Good Deed and he loved it.
Ace had a Love for his Family that was so heartwarming. He was his Big Brothers biggest Fan! He made sure he was at all his sporting events, Rather it was helping on the Wrestling mat, hiding out by the Dugout, Or sneaking onto the Sideline. Ace was there! He was the Over Protective big brother to his Twin Sisters, making sure they stayed safe and or had someone playing with them. Ace Loved Cooking or Baking with Mom, He loved Cuddling, Hugging and most importantly loved having his mom tuck him in, And yes even at 13 yrs old he was still getting tucked in per his request. Ace was Dads Right-hand man in the garage or working on the house if it had anything to do with working he was there to help me. He knew where all the tools were at when grandpa would come asking for a tool. Ace Loved Living across the street from Grandma and Grandpa. He was able to see them every day and help them out with anything they needed. He really loved walking their dog and Helping grandma with Groceries, rather it was going with her to the store or just helping her carry them in! Ace was and Is One of a Kind
