Purralot Kitty Rescue, Inc. Cat and Kitten Rescue This woman cares for all of the cats and kittens solo at Purralot. As well as treated for worms and fleas.

Purralot Kitty Rescue, Inc., a feline Private Animal Shelter in Emporia, KS, is a no-kill 501 C3 non-profit organization, run by one woman, who has cared for cats & kittens for many years. She has an assistant who does, photos, vaccinations, rescue coordinating, and transport with her. She uses her own money to vet each cat she takes in at the local Emporia Vet Hospital. They are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/Feline Leukemia, and vaccinated. They are then taken to a vet so they can be checked over for any health problem(s). Finally, we work on getting them adopted into a Furever Home!

As some may already know, Lola, founder of Purralot Kitty Rescue, Inc. passed away June 1st at home from cancer. Apologies for not posting sooner. Most that knew her well, knew she was a private person in regards to herself.

Words cannot even begin to describe her selfless contribution to cats/kittens and even dogs on occasion. Whether she would admit it or not she was an amazing individual, with a caring soul, and the moral to do the right thing. There are so many people who will miss her and loved her deeply! 😿❤️😻

Please feel free to post photos and info about your furbabies here any time! I know she would still appreciate it! She always enjoyed seeing updates ☺️ of all the babies!
